I am looking for Tyre advice for my 2003 525d Sport Touring Auto - Car currently fitted with OEM Dunlops - 235 45 17.

Thinking of Pilot Sports or Goodyear's -

Anyone got an opinion?

Many people appear to like Goodyear Eagle F1s - the most recent being the GSD3.

I just put a set of the previous model (GSD2) on my E34 540i touring because I was advised by Birds that they are good in the wet.  They do look fairly bulky though; but as my wife drives the car most of the time with my 8 year old daughter as a passenger and often towing a horse box, I wanted them to have the best grip.
