Hi guys,

My 520i is nearly mechanically sound (well running!!)

I have decided to get a few nice bits between now and using it as a daily driver, Here is a list of things i would like,

"Angel eyes" kit,

Alpina wheels 17" or 18"

Full recaro interior

Lowering springs

Clear lenses all round,

So far i have managed to find new lowering springs and M5 rear lenses for €150-good deal? i think so.

The same guy has a M5 interior but wants 1500 bucks for it, money i just dont have right now,

Does anybody know where i can get any of the other bits at the right price, most importantly the Alpina's-dont mind replicas, dont think i can afford real ones!! and also the angeleyes- i love those lights!!

I have been looking on ebay at the angeleyes, various aftermarket sets just add on bits at circa £20, human instinct tells me they are s**te, i presume best to go for complete kits?? which one anybody here got some??

I already have a CD player,M tec steering wheel, 15" alloys, spoiler and a few M badges but these were alreay on it when i got it,

BTW, its white if this makes any difference or if anyone has any suggestions as to what might go with it,

All Suggestions welcome!!

Ben, recommend you buy a copy of Total BMW or BMW Car magazine as they have lots of companies advertising in them that can supply new the parts you are looking for. Because these magazines are published in the UK, they suppliers are nearly all UK based. US based prices may seem more attractive if you are surfing the web, but beware, the thieving b****rds AKA Irish Customs, will charge at least 20% on the purchase price plus the postage cost on anything you import from the US.
For a start, have a look at eurocarparts.com.

I can recommend Euro Car parts as well.  Having shocks fitted to the 325i that arrived from them last week.  Have had plenty of stuff from them over the years, good service, great choice from OEM to replacement parts and all good prices (especially compared to what my local VW dealer charged for bits when I had a mk2 Golf GTI a good few years ago.  URL attached.

Now: BMW 523i SE '00, 318i SE - e91 '07, 325i Coupe '93.

e39 523i SE.
e36 325i Coupe *2, 323i SE, 316iSE.
e30 325iSE 2dr, 320i Conv, 320i 2dr, 316i.

Cheers guys,

I have actually just ordered a head set this evening from gsf for the 520, i have already ordered a head gasket so ill fit that as its genuine bmw, will just use the head bolts and exhaust gaskets and that cause the main stealer was gonna charge a fortune for them,

I have looked up http://www.needforspeed.co.uk too, some nice bits on there, mainly front splitter,

I have a few copies of the BMW mags, about 6 here but there doesnt seem to be much E34 bits available mainly for E36 and E30, will check them out though,

I have got those lowering springs i mentioned and also M5 clear back lenses, €150 quid well spent!!

€500 for 18" AC Schnitzer aoys with used part worn tyres, good price??

There is a cream leather interior on ebay out of a 535i at the mo' which i reckon could be bought for 100£stg. shipping would probably cripple me though,

Thanks!!

Ben
