Hi there, does anyone in the group own a manual e32 (ie the '87 -> version if I'm right)?

I used to have an auto but was interested in the manual version this time round.

Any comments / feedback appreciated.

I wouldn't mind one either, I believe the gearbox's are smooth, but the cars are not as desirable as the auto. Harder to sell on, therefore cheaper to buy.

I think they are fairly rare, as you don't see many advertised, but a good basis for a performance version.

Thinking along the same lines myself.  A quick search on autotrader.co.uk revealed 3 under 2k in the uk, whereas 50+ with autos.

Bit of a bummer really.

It's just that the same engine in my e34 is really good fun and I like the size of the e32.

Oh well, I guess I'll just have to keep on looking
