If i find out i'll let people know. My mate bought a chip for his VR6 and when the supplier sent the chip, my mate realised he had given the wrong vin no. The supplied said you can only map these engines, but don't worry i'm at a BMW meet in the middle of November in Edinburgh.

Can't remember which forum it was on, but I recollect somebody supplying chips and that he would come to you providing you could get one or two people together - is it something like that?

If the cars are being mapped then they would need a rolling road. The only one i know of is in the Abbey area of Edinburgh.

I know that place very well. Not sure if it's changed owners since, but around 8 years ago thats's where I blew the transfer box on my (cough) cavalier turbo 4x4 (cough)
