Hmmm. Good question. I've got Alpina 17" reps on my '84 chome bumper & 17" split-rims BMW X-spoke BBS's on my '89 Highline. IMHO, I prefer the look of the x-spokes, but the ease of cleaning on the Alpinas... As for the 'coke-bottle top' original '84 635 alloys........, 'nuff said |

Unix demon is selling some 16" cross spoke Mahl wheels that would look good. They need a bit of a refurb, but at £260 with tyres are cheap. Go into ebay and type in 6 series BMW and you will find them.

If you fancy a set of Genuine 8.5 x 17 Hartges like these:- only done 2000 miles and in perfect condition, get in touch. I might have 2 x 235 40 17s for them as well.

ok, in every ones humble opinion, what are the best wheels for my 628? im thinking of some alpinas (replicas to be honest, cant afford the real thing) 17" for about £600. however, im open to suggestions for a suitable replacement |
