I use the Autoglym stuff on Mrs. O's cars leather interior and it's top stuff, but I think the steam cleaner is a great idea for the cloth interior and then go for the Autoglym interior cleaner then

Thanks Phil and thanks for the offer Richie.  I'll see if I can get something from a local hire shop in the meantime, but I may be back to take up your offer!

If you want to get them really clean hire a steam cleaner or one of those vet vac (carpet cleaner things), i used it on an old GTI interior i had and it went from a dirty grey back to black in about 10 mins, well worth the hire price , something like £15 to hire it.

Auto Glym interior cleaner is quite good.Use with sponge and cloth and some water will get you good results.

My brother brought over a cloth recaro interior for the 325i which I picked up last night.  It looks great, no wear on bolsters, etc., but it could do with a good clean before it goes in the car.

Does anyone know someone that does good cleaning work?  Failing that, are there any products you'd recommend?
