Exhaust manifold heat shield

   I noticed today on the Jaymic website that they sell a combined all-in-one exhaust manifold gasket/heat shield thingy.  Looked kind of strange.  Has anyone tried this thing??  If so, does it work?
I've never had the heatshield, but I'm getting fed up with melting plug lead caps.
