we are here and yes we do have problems from time to time.  This is the most unsupported forum I have come across though.  I had a BMW Cruiser motorbike and particpated in a very active forum but there just doesn't seem to be a similar fraternity for car owners!  Current issues with my 8 - drivers seat fold-forward relaease lever doesn't release!  Slight shake in steering wheel on heavy braking.  Headlamp performance is poor and I don't know how to adjust the beam other than using the height correction wheel on the dash.

Angus.

its a shame you feel that way about the forums , i think when it comes down to the lack of 8 owners its probably due to the exclusivity of them .

I personally love them and am thinking of buying one in a few months . im not sure which model to go for and there doesnt seem to be much info about em on here so im dragging the net every time i get the chance .

DC, I guess you have a job now if your thinking of getting an 8! Big Smile

Guys

just not enough 8ers around and TBH the Roadfly forum is the most active with Clube31 behind that.

Angus,
Sounds like a seat strip down required. Reckon the Roadfly archives will have a procedure. On the lights I find the same with mine. However, they do get dirty really quicky. You'd be amazed at the difference a clean makes. I assume you know anbout the light cleaning function on the light switch!!!!

Like Angus's mine is solid with the odd niggle. Engine perfect. Exhaust on its last skin. Clock pixels faded. Should be done on warranty when I have it serviced next. Had it two years and I am far from bored Treated with respect and serviced meticulously; I'm not going to part with it.

Cheers
PhilC
