M3 E30 Headlights?

   Recenetly purchased a very clean 1990 convertible well chuffed. Original yellow headlights are crap though, do I have to change both units or are brighter bulbs (halogen?) a wothy option.

I actually like the look of the yellow h/lights I presume these std on these cars as they were all import models?
