I noticed that my 6-series wipers were somewhat weedy in comparison to my E30 daily driver.  A tape measure confirmed that the E30 wipers are 20" & the E24's are only 18".

I swapped them over & they didn't hit anything. They needed replacing anyway so I've put 20" Bosch ones on.

Not a huge difference but every little helps.

Good idea. I used to use a 20" on the driver's side only, and the standard 18" was retained on the nearside.
