Whats the oil level like in the 'box?

Might be worth draining and re-filling.  Fairly easy and cheap to do so it's worth a try.

Hi;

I have a 525i 95 5spd; in very cold days (below 0 Celsius) engaging reverse is very very difficult; sometimes I need to put the car on 1st gear and move it a bit forward before so I can put reverse (1st is also very hard); after I drive the car for 10 min, gears become easier to engage but they remain hard up to 20 ~ 25 min.

Any ideas? suggestions?

Thx
