I'm approaching an Inspection II and my (BMW) garage has quoted £523 which seems a bit steep.

Is it really worth keeping the BMW service history going for a 6 year old car?

What would be the cost outside of the BMW system?

Does anyone have good recommendations of independent garages in West London?

If you look at the independent garage topic lower down on this area. there is a list of them not sure if area is good for you though. my local independent charges about £40 + vat per hour labour. They are v. good & knowledgeable, he will use original parts or if you want to keep cost down factor bits. As for service history I have a e36 on a K & will get them to do my service & stamp my book shouldn't be prob a my garage have BMW trained techs from Park Lane. If you go to sell it put the name & fact they are specialists in the advert.. Hope this has helped.
