Does anybody know who can supply original or reproduction Motorsport stripes for a 3.0 CSL? I have a 1973 CSL and found many reproductions where the colours don't match, but none that look anywhere near the original three coloured stripes.

I take it these are proving difficult to find. Especially if you want them to match the originals exactly. Have you tried BMW? Not too much of a silly question as they have their 'Mobile Tradition' arm, specialising in the older car. If they can get hold of a new 2002 Tii engine from stock then they must be able to point you in the direction of M sport stripes. Prices?? Alternatively, have you tried Walloth and Nesch in Germany. they can get hold of more or less anything older BM related including Alpina parts, all of which are brand new. They speak excellent English and post anywhere in the world, their site is a wonder to behold sometimes. www.wallothnesch.com/

No I have tried the archive and Walloth & Nesch. No longer available, so the only way is to see if anybody knows alternative sources.
