You may also find that the vote you thought you cast ends up going to a completely different party to the one you thought you'd voted for.....

Europe appears to be the way they are all going, well the main ones at least, so I dont suppose it matters much.

Horsetan,

I was a radar technician in the RAF so I don't think I would have used a rifle - but saying that I wasn't superbly competent with the SLR or the SA80 either.

And can we all still recite number rank and last 3? I can remember complete number, but job required me to remember numbers and faces (S&M)

You may have to vote for Veritas if you want us out of Europe Big Smile

have you heard his taxation proposals?

Just one rate of income tax, 22%, and only on anything over 12K. Hmmmm...interesting. Much as it would be nice to pay less tax, I doubt that paying so much less would be viable.

Still he's got a nice tan! biggrin1

I still remember all my details as well! I suppose it's having it drummed into you through training that you just don't forget it. (GRMS)

Hosetan,

Once a year only, yes was lucky didn't jam. Once a year was plenty enough.

As we are into the last 2 weeks of this very important general election and, don't forget the County elections too on May 5th, how about some more votes being posted up or are there still many undecided?

It would be good to see how accurate our poll is to the results on the 6th May!

No, but I can guess ... he had the leader of the BNP on the show on Monday ... now that was comical to listen to.

As long as whoever gets in at the election knows their backside from their elbow when it comes to running things, has no ilicit affairs etc lurking in the shadows, has the decency to admit when he/she is wrong and take the consequences, never ever lies about anything and generally runs things in an open and fair way, I will be happy.
