More renovations for VJ £££££££

VJ is going back to my mechanic next week for another big session. My wallet is cringing in fear already.

I have to prepare a Job Card but will include such items as:

Fogs

Stiff throttle cable

Fit replacement cruise control vacuum actuator

Steering wheel shimmy at 60mph

Lumpy idle

Advice on that nasty screen chip

ABS light comes on sometimes

Not a very long list considering the amount of repairs VJ has recently received. I expected more things to need fettling.

I may also have some coachwork repairs using items from my hoard:

Fit & spray door(s)

Fit better bumper chromes or sexy BBS front spoiler

Fit & spray bootlid – one without massive rust holes where the spoiler fits

Fit & spray bonnet – current one rusty around the hinge mounts

Would have been a lot simpler & vastly cheaper to buy a mint honey in the first place, like Rob does.
