I seem to remember being advised to keep away from these, supposedly they can be a little troublesome.
Best Wishes

325iX were imported into the UK officially but were only in LHD, BMW didn't import many though, very expensive compared to 325i, around 30,000 were built and the US market apparently took around two thirds of production, they are distinguishable by their wheel arch extensions.

They became a favourite in 'ice racing', a bit of a specialist sport in mainland Europe. They did very well too.

Although 4x4 has it's benefits, surely the one of the best things about BMWs is that they are RWD. A 4WD BMW kind of defeats the object IMO.

i nearly bought one about 3 years ago but i was also warned to keep away from them because of all the problems with the 4x4 setup.

I've got to agree with Peter, rear wheel drive is the way to go. If you want 4WD go and see the people at Ingolstadt, each to their own.
