Rational thought process advances human society...irrational emotions impedes progress. If neanderthals stuck to dwellings in dingy caves and hunting boars we wouldnt have evolved into societies.....and consequently no BNP to moan irrationally about what constitutes a nation!

Guess this metaphysical muttering is a bit heavy...but something for  MTEC to try and digest !

Please close it Rhys, I opened this to allow sensible debate, but instead its gone into personal slanging match, so please feel free to shut it down.

Never thought I would ask for a thread to be locked, but I am now please.

I would and will continue to question any one who chooses to vote for the BNP. The main parties do have their problems but the BNP are a vile organisation of ingnorant fools who's views scare me. These are the kind of people who spread hatred and violence against people who are not white.

I suppose it all depends which side of the fence you are sitting on. To some people (for example) Mandella is a terrorist, and to others he is a freedom fighter. His wife was well known for the habit of putting a tyre round some hapless African's kneck, filling it with petrol and setting it alight. Is that terrorism or a suitable punishment? Depends on your point of view.

I personally will defend anyone's right to vote for whoever they like. It really annoyed me when Blunket raised his hands in the air and bemoaned what things were coming to when a BNP guy got democratically elected as a councillor in Halifax recently.

Whether you agree with a parties policies or not, many people fought for a long time for the right to vote, and people should be allowed to vote for who they like.
I personaly found it difficult to believe that people actually voted for Tony B Liar at the last election. A man who is more right wing than Margerat Thatcher at her worst.(or best, depending on your political position)

I think that a man who goes to war on a rumour can not possibly be allowed to continue as PM of this country. I don't care who you vote for but please don't vote for him. Personally I will be voting for the Raving Loony party if they put up a candidate. I did last time they did, and will no doubt do it again later.

T B Liar's Scottish mate Brown is not much better. My wife was speaking to Khali Mountford MP for Colne Valley where we live the other week and expressed her dislike for Mr Brown. Khali agreed, stating that she had tried to start a conversation with him on an important question raised by one of her constituents, and was told 'Go away! Don't you realise how important I am' Who needs leaders like that!

Oops! Nearly forgot why I came to this topic. Something about racism I believe. Looks like RHys sorted it out.
