Looking to replace tyres on car fairly soon. Currently on Michelins.

Looking for good all round dry/wet tyre. Any recommendations please?

Cheers

Vredestein Ultracs-excellent wear, wet and dry grip and profile plus not mega-money. Also have rim-edge to help protect on kerbing.
Gentlemen I may not have a brain but I do have an idea

Cheers Stone Island. Was looking at them as well as loads of others.

Are Vredesteins commonly available?

Should be, try this:

www.vredestein.com

Click on english link on top and do search on Ultracs.

Over 3 years I've had them on the M3 they've handled 300bhp with no problems at all.

Cheers,

Don't do the size I'm after - 205/60R15 (bike tyres I know)

Shame 'cos they have a sexy tread and could easily handle my "measly" 193bhp!

Try a slightly wider tyre, the 15" rims should accomodate it.

Quite like the look and write up on the Goodyear F1 Eagle GS-D2/D3.

While looking for best prices on tyres came across www.mytyres.co.uk Worth a look!

Look at the Mpower forum and do a search on tyres, someone recently posted a thread on best tyres there.
