hi..

 

I've got a gorgeous black 2 dr E30 which has been lowered 40mm all round.  Does anyone know if 17's would fit with any arch mods ??

New to the BM scene so sorry if this is a stupid question....

A lot of folks reckon 17" is too big for the E30 and it ruins the handling, even though they fit.

Yeah same as my MK2 Golfs...

17's look much better though.  I'll try it and see how I get on !!!

They will fit, no problems, but you need to stick to a 205 or 215 /40 tyre, I wouldn't say they ruin the handling, but if you really pushed the car regular, or track the car then stick to 15", 17" fill the arches out great on an E30.

Got 17s on my E30 with 205/40s its lowered 40mm too,no problems with fitting and the handling is if anything sharper,but I am using M-tech inserts and rear shockers
