E39 Wind Noise

   Can anyone help me? When driving at about 40-50mph and above, there's a lot of wind noise that seems to come from the dash. ANy ideas?

	Hi There is a TIS article that suggests you should check that the jack pads in the cills are all in place. This is known to give the impression of windscreen/dash wind noise...!

	Hi there, Thanks for the info. Are u referring to the small platic covers that go where the Jack links with the car to raise it? These are all in place. The air noise is definately coming from the centre console area towards the windscreen. Its as if the windscreen has a big gap underneath. The windscreen appears to be the original BMW windscreen as it has the warning sticker in the top left hand corner.
