Can somebody please tell me if BMW ever did the e34 with 16" alloys?

Has i always thought they came with either 15" or metric and the 16`s were fitted to the later five`s, the reason i ask is because the e34 i have recently brought has 16"s lattice fitted to it without spiggits, ( and slight shimmey ) and i know if there from the later 5 i need some, but if 16`s were original on the e34 as well i have not worrys.

so basicly did the e34 or the e32 come with 16" s at any time?

Check the bore in the wheel I think it's 72.5mm for an E34 and 74mm for an E39!

Hello m8, the bore size is right 72.5 its the off set that seems to be wrong.

I know it`s meant to be 20 but the 16"`s on mine need 3mm spacers???

If the offset is wrong and the spigot size is correct then you either have 7-series wheels or you have some non-BMW wheels.

If you can find a BMW part number for them I can look it up to see exactly what they are.

You shouldn't have a shimmy if the spigot is the correct size - unless the hub/wheel/spacer is not true.

My M5 runs 18" wheels with ET20 offset front and ET22 offset rear and as far as I can see the metric wheels were ET19 offset - anything from et15-et25 shouldn't cause a problem.
