Does anyone know a decent mechanic in the Dublin / Kildare area who will also work on non BMW's?

I need a new head gasket for a Rover 216si and the local Rover dealer didn't inspire much confidence. The gasket is just leaking - apparently a standard problem on these engines - there is no damage and the car runs like a dream (for a Rover) the quotes I've had from White Bishop & such have all been over 1200 yo yos????

Anyone have a place to recommend

directions (from Maynooth)
drive through Maynooth and at Kilcock end of town take turn towards
Dunshaughlin (at main church).
about 1.5 miles up the road (after a longish straight) is a left turn - take

soon there is a fork - keep right (driving past Moyglare Manor)
Denis is down there 1.25 miles on right (stone gateway with SIMI sgin).

directions (from Kilcock)
In main centre of Kilcock take road towards Dunshaughlin.
Shortly up the road is the left-turn for Dunshaughlin - keep going straight.
Shortly again theres another t junction (dunboyne follows main rd) you go
