ive been under my car and found what has to be the problem with my vibration after 80 mph,

the centre bearing is completely shot to f**k. part of the bearing os attached to the prop and another is attached to the mount with nothing in between the 2 to connect them!! im off to get the part tommorrow and ill let you know if it sorts it.

ive replaced both the universal joint and the centre bearing but the vibration is still there!!!

im completely at a loss now to see what could be wrong.

could it be the case that when my wheels were balanced they were done wrong?

im assuming its not a wheel bearing as im sure id be able to hear it so what else could it be?

What wheels have you got fitted? Make, size, tyres?

i solved the problem by getting the wheels balanced again, aparently they had been done wrong in the first place, it turns out that sorting the propshaft problems out got rid of the vibrations i was feeling through the seat and the new wheel balancing sorted the vibrations through the steering wheel
