Hi all, I'm not happy with the silly oval tailpipe someone has welded onto my 1990 sport and am thinking of going stainless.

I just want some standardish looking twin pipes and a decent (not loud) exhaust note. I spoke to local powerflow guy who quoted 220 for the rear box only, but has anyone got experience of Supersprint, Scorpion or other big names?

I've read that the Scorpion in Very loud which puts me off.

Cheers

Hi,

I have a stainless scorpion system on my 325 sport and at first I thought it was loud but I have now got used to it and quite like the sound.  I don't think it is intrusive and only seems to make loads of noise if you accelerate hard, normal driving is fine.  I will try and get a picture posted so you can see the tail pipes I think they are called le mans and look fairly standard.

Matt.

Why not try an original from BMW about £275 try for some discount if you are a Car Club member . They are very good quality and work well with the car.
