 Hi people i,am looking to bye a e30 convertible for the first time. The car i have look at is in very good order but the roof as a small hole about 5mm round and the rear window is very cloudy.Is there anything i can do with both problem IE: patch hole and clean or replace window ?

It's probably best if you negotiate the price of a new roof off the car, then get a new roof fitted.  It will cost you about £500.  Failing that, i've heard of a thing called Hind Sight whicj is meant to be wonderful for cleaning milky rear windows

BMW are supposed to supply some good stuff for cloudy windows

Let us know how well it works, and whether it is any good at polishing out cracks and sellotape
