Foggy FTP assembly

A while back when I put on the Csi kit on and had some paint damage fixed the body shop replaced the passenger side flash to pass assembly (driving light/high beam flasher/indicator) as a mounting clip was cracked.
The first 2 that turned up had a crusty white residue on the inside of the glass and also fogged up and the slight hint of moisture - they replaced it with a 3rd one...no residue but also fogged up.  Put a 4th one on yesterday which I think is from a laster production batch and will see how that goes.
I have a feeling that the entire production run has dodgy seals at the back of the assembly.  Anyone else experienced this?
