Could it be the wheel bearing?

Hi
I own a 318i on a 'K ' plate, i am hoping someone here has had a similar problem or can help me solve mine.

I have an annoying noise coming from the rear n/s wheel, the sound can only be desribed as something rubbing when the wheel is turning and gets faster as the car increases speed.

My first idea was the rear brake shoe rubbing on the drum as it goes round, as this is the easiest way to desribe the sound, sadly all appeared fine.
Since then:
I have chnaged the wheel in case of a tyre/wheel fault.
Renewed the rear bushes.
Checked the cv boot, all tight and no wear!

Ive consulted the Csma breakdown, local garage and Bmw dealership local to myself, none have resolved the problem except mention the above that i have already tried.

I would appreciate any help or solution to this problem.
Many thanks in advance!!

Darren
