This is the same one you found a few weeks ago on e-bay. I think it made about £2.5k then but missed reserve (by a long shot I'd say, since its still on Autotrader at £9995). They seem to have made a bit more of an effort in making a case for it this time.

they sure have. their last advert was very poor with tiny pics and almost no info on the car. looks like someone will some selling skills has put this latest advert together.
forget dreams of £9995, try £2500 and be grateful to get that much.

Still only a 2.8. I wonder why Tim Higgnet did not squirral away a 735SE or, even better, an EX?
As this was on a 'D', could it be that the e32 just killed e23 sales dead and he (or BMWGB) was stuck with stock of an entry model e23?

Very good guess. I read that this car came into the collection as the result of a cancelled customer order.
