TRANSISTORS!

One in the dial control; the other above the fan cage itself.

Hi,

I have an '85 635 auto. Its been standing around for a while and there are a series of problems, one of which is the blower.

I took the motor out and it was seised, so I loosened it up and cleaned, wd40'd it and then tested it, and it worked. However, it does not work from the dial in the car. The dial (quarter turn then click type) takes current, as indicated by the drop in revs when fully on. However no blown air comes out!!!

Could anyone help me out, or know what the problem may be?

Thanks

Ben
