   Hi, im new to the forum. Noticed some members meet up on a 2 monthly
basis... what do you do at the meetings? who's entitled to turn up?
just basically want to know what goes on.... what am i missing!?

	Hi Cchris. Basically the North East region is so large, it is split up into 4 sub-sections. Each section has their own meet every month. You will be welcome at any of the meets, the details are all on the Club website. As you are in Newcastle, the nearest one to you is on the first Wednesday of every month. It is at the Holiday Inn at Seaton Burn, at the A1/A19 junction. However, as this is quite far north, this will now be the venue every other month, with the alternate months meeting being just of the A1 at junc 61 at the Bowburn Hall Hotel. This will start from September. (see thread in NE forum for more details). The August meeting is actually being combined with a Drive & Dine, again, see the thread in the NE forum and PM AndyS in you wish to come along. You will be more than welcome but on this occasion, you will need to book in advance. There are plenty of things coming up, the BMW Festival in Gaydon. a meet with the Scottish region at Kielder, etc., so keep an eye on the forum.
	My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with a girl who saw Ferris pass-out at 31 Flavours last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

	To give you a flavour, check out the threads in the NE forum for: Alnwick Gardens Moffat MG Northumbria These will give you an idea of the some of the runs/events that take place. you have also just missed a superb day at Croft. 40+ club members, with the track to ourselves, from 9am - 5pm. I have calculated that I managed about 75 laps. Fantastic!!!! See the Better Driving Days for some of the feedback & some photos from Monday.
