It's ok to say 'forget what other people say', but if I'm right, Ian is a bargain hunter like myself. I personally don't beleive in paying top prices for secondhand goods. £60 for both wings would have been good. On the other hand, they're getting scarce now, so if the seller knows this, he's got you by the short and curlies. I paid Laserchrom £70 for two wings and a mint door. That's more like it.
If you've got it, a lorry brought it.

Nigel "Taliban" bleeped me out

I have emailed Wendy with Tony's number.

Let me know if you find anyone with any Polaris or Cosmos blue e23 panels. I'm not sure having an Arctic Blue bootlid on a cosmos blue car looks cool

Ok Mark, why? they make a T-cut for metallic paint, at worst I'dve thought the panel would need re-laquering?

If it is flat paint clean and fill scratch with paint and with very fine wet and dry paper lightly sand down flat and use ether t-cut or scratch-x I would use scratch-x and than use some good Polish ovr the top. Hope this helps

Cheers Mark, helps a lot, pretty much what I though but got discouraged after last attempt made no improvement. The rest of the car came up so well with t-cut and Autoglym super resin I want to get the scratched side as good as it can be got. Then maybe try some gold class on it, made her son blink, he uses commercial car wash/hot waxes!

Phil
Do you have the wings for me?
My car will be going into the shop around October so will relieve you of these shortly.
As for buying used parts, I would and do, but as the demand isn't there for the e23 anyhow, parts prices have to reflect this, however if the parts cross from the e28/e24/e23 this does increase the value of the part somewhat!

AG,

Sorry for any confusion, I have not got rear wings in my hoard. What I meant to say was Tony in Erith is about to start stripping down his Polaris E23 shell. You could talk to him about cutting off the rear wings for you.

Another option is for you to buy the Laserchrom car and break it up yourself, or ask Stuart to cut off the wings for you.
