   Hi, 
I have a E34 M20, I recently replaced the engine, and am now trying to track down a gremlin in the starter circuit.
When you operate the starter, the motor spins, but doesn't engage the flywheel and so is not turning the engine.
The starter has been checked an verified as ok.
I am getting voltage at the terminals when the key is turned but I dont know what the voltages should be
If anyone out there can help it would be great.
