10 Disc Changer but only 6 presets?

   I am thinking of installing a Sony 10 disc MP changer into my car, a 1997 523i.  I can obtain a custom made bracket as the dimensions are larger than the standard changer. My only query is in regard to having only 6 presets on the head unit. Is there any way that the 7-10 discs could be selected from the head unit?
