Martin,

Any update, have you decided to keep the car?

Well lads - took a deposit on her last night so she is moving on. Depressed but its the right thing to do.  Have to clean her out now and gather all the paperwork together.

That was quick enough Martin.  Hopefully its going to a good home and you've gotten close to your asking price.  Its a pity you've had to let it go but sometimes you have to make hard decisions.

I know this'll sound stupid, but don't forget to take you old insurance disc out.  Wouldn't want someone racing around and your details being taken.

Any plans for a replacement?  As the expression goes, the best way to get over a woman is to get under another one - I think this applies to cars, too!

Cheers lads - just cleaned her out there now so all thats done.

Got what I wanted for her as the asking was a little bit above the target price so happy with that. I just wanted a fair price for the car as I didn't buy her to make money just to enjoy the M experience.  Shame it didn't last longer.

As for replacement - passat is in the driveway so need to VRT that next week.

Will give some serious thought to an E30 318is for track day indulgence now, cheap fun and not have to worry about needing it for work on Monday morning. I can keep it on UK plates and tow it to mondello so no VRT / Tax / Insurance etc.

Well thats the end of that.

The M3 departed this evening - gone to its new home.  It was good while it lasted.
