I am looking to get this modification done as I dont like the way the clutch is operating at the moment ...

Does anybody know of any garages/people in the north east that has the knowhow to do this swap?

CDV modification

I also dislike the clutch operation, 1st gear pull away then changing to second gear is difficuly to get it done smoothly.

I looked at doing  the clutch line modification, however when I looked at my car  the damn CDV is not there! I am assuming that it was only fitted to the US spec BMW, the info on the modification is on US based sites so nothing to do, well at least on my 544i anyway.

Noticed that myself, none of the UK sites seems to mention it... Oh well, just need to put up with 1st to 2nd shift...(probably just my bad driving anyway)
