E39 / M5 or B10 or M5 Auto?????

   Can I have your thoughts and comments about which is better and why.
The B10 seems to be cheaper and more fuel eco and has the ability to shift on the steering wheel and auto in traffic (living in london).

	Just did a search which uncovered a thread a while ago. An insight into the triptronic would be great???? I drove an RS6 at Goodwood and found the paddle shift great but a tad slow.
