At a rough guess 50% on here are not full members and therefore out of the mag catchment, then you have those who bought their car privately or from a non BMW dealership. There are plenty on here who are not full members. There are thos, like myself who don't have the car either and who come on here to see whats new and have a giggle at the same time.

So a section with news about the cars, that would go unnoticed by those not in the club would be very useful, afterall just cos you own a type of car does not mean you have to join the owners club, does it. More info can be got at from a site like this than the club mag where info can often be swallowed up inside the club sections.

Go for it Killian, when you own any car, the more press releases/news/info you can find, the better.

Aww poor Andy..sniff...

Don'y worry mate, its all noted, there is only  Killian dealing with that side of the forum, and even he has to have a life outside of here ( wife and child etc), and all the events he helps organise/attends in Ireland

-----Nigel, when we were coming up with idea,s for the Central regions site, suggested a "Heard on the Strasse" page--lots of snippets-gossip-New models testing-Engines for 2008-sport ++++ Anything related to the world of BMW

By the time news is in the Mag, ALL the weeklys and other Petrol head websites, have given all the details and its common knowledge to the world.

We need our "Hot News" section to be before the others , and Not History. If its a New section, most posters will use it.

I have to admit you are quite correct John, especially about the Central bit.

Being as you've asked again....I will do it, my only reservation about it is as the Central webmaster, at the moment only I can update those pages, and with my general response times, you may find its appeared in the Beano before I've updated it.

We'll give it a go sir, I'll create the pages for you later ( provided I don't have any access problems ), I'll need content though, can you send me some ?

Best Wishes

Nigel
