Sat Nav Speed pulse

   can someone please tell me where i can find the speed pulse for my E38 BMW 730i 1995....im fitting a Blaupunkt Travel Pilot DX and someone told me it was the black/white wire on the back of the radio cassette but this doesent work.........any surgestions welcome......

	As far as my memory goes I think the black/white is the VS signal. (Certainly in the E32s) I also seem to remember that in that general vicinity there was a white/black wire, easy mistake possible I suppose. Other than that are you sure the Pilot DX is ok? If the unit is good and you have the correct wire I suppose you will have to trace it from behind the dash (speedo) unit just in case there is a problem with the wire itself. Sorry I could not be more helpful, but E38 wiring diagrams are like hens teeth to get hold of.
