"Doctor, I got this feelin' that I can't control.......Da Da Da Dr, Dr Beat, wont you tell me please......etc"

Oh no! I'm afraid my E23 is hemeraging PAS fluid, like a stuck pig! This is combined with stiff steering when turning left

(almost like there is no PAS at all).

At first I thought it was a leaky seal on the steering box as the fluid seemed to be dripping underneath the shaft attached to the centre tie rod, but no, I now seems more likley the fluid is traveling along the front subframe before dripping next to the steering box.

Anyway although this does not nessercerly mean the death of my E23, it is definatly in the comma ward.(My garage)

This is a major bummer as I have just got it fully certified for it's LPG conversion. BOO!

But if anyones interested, I'll be doing a web page on how to convert your E23 to LPG, & it will easyly apply to any 80's BMW. It isn't hard, & could save you a lot of money.

Watch this space!
