Yeah, but a hard disk drive revs up to a redline of 15.5k rpm!  When you have that, and a big bus (especially fsb), you'd be surprised at the results!

There are competer enthuasiasts / geeks who spend as much time improving or modding their PCs as we do with our cars.
I don't think they have track days though!
