M635 rear spoiler

   Hi everyone...I'm new to the forum, but have visited as a guest many times.  I am the owner of a 1985 m635 and I am about to start a body repaint/repair ..... what I want to know is which rear spoiler my car should have... my car is fitted with the early type all rubber spoiler yet I have seen one the same age fitted with the later Highline style mtec spoiler.  I have also seen brochures for the car showing the early and late style.  I want to be accurate in the respray so can anyone give me the definitive answer?  If it helps it is build number 150.  Thanks...Huw

	Sounds a bargain Huw. Let me know if you find out how to separate the rubber lip from the spoiler.

	I'm not sure that I need it now...according to BMW it would appear that my car might well have had the rubber type fitted...I've put a post on the MPower forum as well with the telephone number of the breakers yard

	The correct spoiler for your M635csi is dependent on the build date. If the car was built before 9/1985 then the all rubber smaller spoiler is correct. If it was built after 9/1985 then the later highline typre spoiler is correct. Note this is build date and not registration date. Hope this clears this up for you. James
