320 i e30 cold starting

   hi i have  a H reg 320 i with a 156 tho on the clock. now the cold weathers started its a sod to start in the mornings runs lumpy for a few mins then its fine could this be the idler vavle on the intake by the air box ? any ideas please or is there a cold start senser many thanks andy
