buying advice

hey folks

i'm thinking about getting a mid 90's 525, or 530.

i need to know what commonly goes wrong with these or gets neglected.

how horrific is the fuel consumption?

whats performance/handling like?

when/how often does the cam belt need changed? or are there any other expensive jobs that'll come up on higher mileages?

and anything else anyone might suggest would be handy........
