Another e30 heater problem

   Winter is here again so i need to get this sorted asap . My heater blower has given up . Although the temp is working correctly (both hot and cold) the actual blower has failed . I removed the blower from behind the firewall and tested it and although it squeels a bit seems to be working ok . Could it just be a matter of fitting a new blower switch ? Confused  .
