Haven't seen one before, let alone know where to get one!

Definitely not E30 related...

That's not got twin carbs has it? 316 airbox was a round one about a foot accross IIRC.
No idea what that one came out of unless it's an older generation 3 series or similar.

Sorry, it's for a 1971 E3 2500/2800/3000 but I can't find a forum for those - I hoped someone on here would be clued up!

Yes, it's got twin Solex carbs fitted. If there is anyone in the club who could help, could you point them towards this thread please?

Thanks for that Rhys, they are mostly overseas but I've tryed Linwar in the UK.

Does the BMW club not cater for these cars?
