would anybody know of anywhere that i could get a reconditioned cylinder head for my 1990 318i S, and how much it would roughly cost?any help would be greatly appreciated

To be honest, i reckon you will find it easier to source a complete engine. It's rare to find a head on it's own... you need a M42 head, the later M44 heads from the E36 don't fit...
Have you tried Euro car parts or German Swedish & French, someone told me one of them does recon heads. How many miles has the engine done? |

IMHO the best bet and the cheapest would be to source one via eBay. Or as Mark says via GSF or perhaps Eurocarparts. If you bought a whole car from eBay you could salvage all the other goodies which you might need in the future. |
