Hey everyone, hope your all ok...

Wondered if anyone can help me with my seats in my e30 convertible? The usual story of buying a car and now in the process of sorting out all of the problems before I get it on the road in the summer, but the drivers seat was damaged quite badly. I took it to my local bmw garage who told me that it was beyond repair, but I'm really struggling to find a replacement. I think that the seats might be out of an e30 M3, because the passenger seat has all of the tilt mechanism on it (left hand drive). Also, there are m3 emblems on the back rests of both the fronts and in the back ones. The rear seat has a hole in the centre of it which goes into the boot, I think its to release air when you shut the doors (is this on all of e30s, or just the CAb?)  All of the seats are a really dark blue leather. I also found a label under the rear seat with some codes on which may give some clues, but when I took it to the garage they didnt wanna help. The label reads as follows:-

Fahrgestellnummer: WBABB12040 - EB95223

Modell BB12   Sonder-nummer      :0000

Polster 0293  Polster-ausfuehrung: 310

Farbe 189   Auftragsnummer  : 09850686

(hope that makes sense to someone!!) Any help would be Great!! Thanks, from Guy.

nope, they appear to be out of a manual 325i convertible (jun 89) according to that ticket

right hand drive too

the drivers side tilt should only have a control on the door side, whereas the passenger seat should have a control on bothsides

unless they are from a left hand drive car

hope that helps

The gap in the middle of the rear seat going through to the boot is the "Ski bag" option. There should be a removable infill.
