    Posted: 30-July-2003 at 12:11
I keep getting notification emails sent to me when there are posts in the Mpower forum.
I don't recall ever asking for this on any of my dealings with the forum. I've tried unsubsribing as detailed on the email but it dosn't seem to work.
I've just got back from a holiday and there was about 20 notifications on my work acount and our IT hitler was not happy.
Can you help me by removing it.
Thanks

Apologies for this to you and anyone else - I am hoping we can weather this storm and soon it will run smoothly.
Go into the email that was sent and click the unsubscribe link.
Also have a look in the M-Power board and at the bottom if the link reads Un-Watch this Forum then click that (if it says watch this forum - dont click!)
This should stop them.
Lastly when posting new messages don't click the email notification (I know that you may not have previously!)

Just a suggestion (which may be a request to Web Wiz). On some other boards when the option is taken for email notification it includes the text of the post so you don't then have to click thru.

Just a thought

If you are having no luck stopping messages (with the tick box in your prifile and clicking the links to unsubscribe from particular threads or forums) then go to your profile page and remove your email address. Having no email address in your profile will stop this but also means that you will not be able to request your password if you forget it.

On another note I am receiving multiple emails which bounce from members (both when the forum sends that member a message notification and for some new subscribers). If you want to receive emails from the forum for either reason then make sure it is correct.

Danke
K.

I've sorted mine out! I opened each forum and made sure that they said "Watch each forum for relpies" was at the bottom of the page instead of "Un-watch each forum for relpies". Clicking the text toggles it.

I am sorry if it is bombarding you with this. if b318isp's method still doesn't stop them then edit your profile (link at top of page) and remove (leave blank) your email address and then it will definitley stop.
