I've noticed that there seem to be a lot of meets in the Kent area and Hampshire areas. Are there any meets near London or the Middlesex area?

I was a member a few years ago only for a year and found that it was a waste of my money as no-one really seemed to know much about their cars, other than where to put their cars in for services to their local BMW garage - has this changed?

TIA

blimey that's put the cat amongst the pidgeons

i think you need to hang around the m-power lads/lasses more, we certainly know about our cars and aren;t afraid to abuse them, the local dealer is the last place you will find most of us, so lizzie i suggest you come down to bexleys more often and find the hardcore bmw nutters, you never know, we might even convince you to finally get on the track! i maybe getting another bmw to add to the e30 m3 soon, just need to shift the rover cab then i'll be up for the meeting again, the e30 will be pretty well unusuable on the road once i get it sorted.

Simon

Good to hear from you. I am pleased that you are around - haven't heard or seen you for some time. Good to hear that you are still enjoying your E30 M3 - Rover Cab - what are you doing with that?

Are you thinking of going down to Gaydon on 17th - I'm going along with the old man - would love to see you again.

I did notice that you were selling some wheels not that long along - shame they didn't fit my car, otherwise I would have been tempted.

Spent all day cleaning my car with Meguiars today - not as impressed with it as my Zymol stuff. I suppose you get what you pays for Although it is easier to use, but still takes a long time to do, if you do it properly with the Gold Shampoo and Conditioner, followed by the Scratch-X, and finally with the Gold Clear Wax. At least my arms caught the sun Was too knackered to sort of the X-spokes, although they will have to be done - just run out of steam and also the pain from my shoulder, knees and back don't help - I'm paying for it now

See you around - when I get some money, I'll be popping down to see the boys in Bexley - although you won't be seeing me on the track - no point in an automatic and after my participation in a serious car accident some time ago, I don't particulary enjoy going too fast these days, especially when I get the flashbacks!! I wouldn't even be good as a passenger, let alone a driver!! However, I do enjoy watching someone who is able to handle their car, driving at top speeds.

www.e30zone.co.uk Good to see that you have visited our website - perhaps we can have a write up on what you have done so far - would love to see what you have done to your car recently. When I was in the US a couple of years back, I got hold of a BMW parts magazine and they had the famous Motorsport colours decal that goes on the corner of the front of the car and I think also on the rear corner too - would look great on your car as it was pictured on a white car too.

Seesya Lizzie

PS - how is your lovely pussycat? still costing you money?

cat is okay, i will have the full motorsport theme eventually, car is coming along, a e36 316 with a m44 1.9 motor and a few tweaks is on the horizon, need to shift the rover to make room, hopefully i'll be a bit more active then as i will be driving bm's all the time then. 17th not sure, i'm at castle coombe on the 16th and i have been suffering from severe migrains and other problems which the Doctor is still trying to figure out, if i over do it i tend to regret it for several days afterwards. i'll catch up with you soon.
