Break Lt Circuit Problem

   Hello All,
Every once in a while this msg pops up saying "Break Lt Circuit... CHECK OWNERS MANUAL".  It used to come up once in a long while but now it's happening more frequently.... However, all break lights are working fine and all other lights for that matter.  Any idea???!!!

	Imad 0volts return, or dodgy bulb holder would be the first items I would check. I had a side light (rear) that used to play up like that.

	i get bulb warning messages for the whole back of the car!!!! apparently caused by wires breaking where the flex going into the boot (passenger side hinge), could be a fault here? apparently not a major prob to fix, i'll see when i get off this damn oil rig! Cheers, Brent

	Brent I had that on my original 525i, I just soldered some replacement wires on, but I doubt that is a brake light problem, as the brake light wires dont go onto the boot lid, number plate, fog lights, & reversing lights. I used tri-rated 0.75 mm cable, was never a problem again
